Offset spacing equals the rise multiplied by the bend-angle multiplier. Common multipliers are approximately 6.0 for 10°, 2.6 for 22.5°, 2.0 for 30°, 1.414 for 45°, and 1.155 for 60°.

When an offset moves both vertically and sideways, first find the true offset using the two legs as a right triangle. Multiply that true offset by the selected bend multiplier.
Longer distance, higher current, and greater conductor resistance increase voltage loss. Ampacity, terminal ratings, instructions, and local rules still control the installation.
Conductors, internal clamps, support fittings, grounding conductors, and devices can each add volume allowances. Use the box's marked volume and the applicable table.
A load expected to run at maximum current for three hours or more may require special sizing treatment. Verify equipment-specific requirements.
Final work must account for the adopted code edition, local amendments, permits, listings, manufacturer instructions, environment, and inspection requirements.
